Nas condições do trabalho, dos oito cimentos estudados in vitro, Vitrebond, Hydro C, XR-Ionomer e Life Improved mostraram ter ação antimicrobiana, enquanto Ketac-Bond, Renew Light, Shofu Lining Cement e Timeline não revelaram ação antimicrobiana.

The authors used the diftusion test in agar to verify the antimicrobial action of the pulp-dentin complexprotector cements on S. mutans and S. sanguis. Under the conditions of the work, the eight studied cements in vitro, Vitrebond, HydroC, XR-Ionomer and Life Improved showed antimicrobial action; while Ketac-Bond, Renew Light, Shofu Lining Cement and Timeline did not show antimicrobial action.
