Abstract
Temporomandibular disorders embrace a larger number of functional disturbances. Correlation between temporomandibular disorders and ontological symptoms is often found in literature, including tinnitus. This study reports a clinical case of tinnitus and temporomandibular disorders associates. The treatment consisted of orientation about etiology, occlusal splint using and physiotherapy. The patient presented significant reduction of the initial symptoms after a one month therapy. The clinical characteristics that lead to the diagnosis, as well as the efficacy of temporomandibular disorders treatment on tinnitus were discussed in this article.
