Abstract
The aim of this study is to discuss the clinical aspects of the rehabilitation by fragment reattachment technique of fractured incisors through the review of literature, obtained in MEDLINE and LILACS data base. After analysis of the literature, it can be concluded that: to restore fractured incisors one of the most advantageous methods is the fragments bonding due to smaller cost, best aesthetic and faster execution and stability. The most suitable bonding technique would be with bevel absence, and without pulp protection (cases of absence of pulp exposition) not to detach the fragment, even increase the fracture line and/or diminish the aesthetics. The most suitable materials would be the dual adhesive systems, which do not contain acetone, are dismissed immediately before the use, associated or not to the composite resin. The longevity related to the bonding of fractured teeth is about 3 to 7 years.
