Abstract
Glass-ionomer cements (GIC) represent one of the most studied and used materials in modern dentistry. The purpose of this study was to review the main concepts regarding GIC, as well as present their clinical indications and the tendencies to current researches, guiding and up-dating the dentist in his/her clinical practice.
Keywords
