Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyse histologically, teeth homogenous transplantation to socket, in rats, immediately after the extraction or at the initial stage of the healing. According to the results obtained at 10, 30 and 60 post-transplantation days, it can be concluded that the teeth homogenous transplantation to socket at initial stage of the healing, when it is compared with the transplanted teeth to socket immediately after the extraction, shows: a) the epitheliaJ reinsertion delay, at the initial period; b) precocious proliferation of the conjuntive tissue and the osseous trabeculae in the middle region and at the bottom of the socket; c) revascularization of the pulp in every third parts, with formation of pulpars calcification in delay periods; and d) small and restricted root resorption and large ankylosis regions specially the cementary osseous type.
