Resumo

Foi estudado histologicamente o comportamento intra-alveolar do implante de "Tissucol" em alvéolos dentais de ratos. Dois grupos de 16 animais foram utilizados, sendo seus incisivos superiores direitos extraidos e o "Tissucol" implantado em um dos grupos. Os animais foram sacrificados em grupos de quatro animais, em períodos de 24 horas, 7, 14 e 21 dias pós-operatórios, e, as peças obtidas, coradas por hematoxílina e eosina para estudo histológico. Os resultados obtidos permitiram concluir que: 1) os tecidos conjuntivo e ósseo desenvolveram-se em íntimo cantata com o material; 2) o "Tissucol" é paulatinamente absorvido ao longo da reparação alveolar; 3) o implante de "Tissucol", em alvéolos dentais de ratos, atrasa a cronologia do processo de reparo.

Abstract

The aim of this paper was to analyse the wound healing of dental extraction in rats following the implant of "Tissucol" into the alveolus. Two groups of 16 male albino rats were utilized; their right upper incisors were extracted and "Tissucol" was implanted in one group. The animals were sacrificed in groups of four after postoperative periods of 24 hours, 7, 14 and 21 days. The sections of the obtained pieces were stained with hematoxylin and eosin for morphological study. According to the results obtained in the present paper it was possible to conclude that: 1) connective and osseous tissue were developed in contact with the material; 2) in the course of wound healing the material suffers absorption; 3) the cronological evolution of dental extraction wound healing is delayed in presence of "Tissucol".
