Resumo
Foi realizada uma análise da incidência de fraturas faciais, considerando-se o sexo, idade e estruturas anatômicas atingidas, a partir de dados coletados na Santa Casa de Misericórdia e Pronto-Socorros da cidade de São José dos Campos, São Paulo, durante o ano de 1989. A maior incidência de fraturas foi na mandíbula em pacientes do sexo masculino, faixa etária 20 a 30 anos, e a menor incidência de fraturas foi de mandíbula (tipo Le Fort I).
Abstract
A retrospective study of the incidence of the maxillofacial skeleton fractures was carried out during 1 year period in São José dos Campos city. The incidence was greatest in the jawbone. The males, and the 20 to 30 years old patients were the more envolved.
