Abstract

This study had purpose to evaluate in vitro marginal leakage of MOD restorations with the gingival margin in cementum. Each tooth was evaluated in the following interfaces: cementum/dentin bonding agent/composite, amalgam/dentin bonding agent/composite and cementum/dentin bonding agent/amalgam. The degree of microleakage at the cementum/dentin bonding agent/amalgam interface was warse than at the cementum/dentin bonding agent/composite and amalgam/dentin bonding agent/composite.

Keywords

Marginal leakage, dentin bonding agent, posterior restorations
