Resumo
Este estudo teve o objetivo de avaliar in vitro a microinfiltração marginal na parede oclusal e parede cervical, de cavidades de classe V restauradas com sistemas de adesão dentinária/resina composta ou com cimentos de ionômero de vidro. Concluímos que: para parede oclusal, os sistemas restauradores adesivos estudados apresentaram estatisticamente o mesmo comportamento; para parede cervical, nenhum dos sistemas restauradores adesivos foi capaz de eliminar a microinfiltração marginal; a microinfiltração marginal ocorreu em maior grau na parede cervical, quando comparada com a parede oclusal.

Abstract
This study had the purpose of evaluating in vitro the marginal microleakage at both the enamel and dentin margins of the class V cavities restored with dentin bonding agents/composite resin or with glass ionomer cements. Findings indicated that: 1. The adhesive restorative systems for the enamel margin herein have showed the same behavior; 2. Not one of the adhesive restorative systems was able to eliminate the microleakage in the dentin margin; 3. The microleakage has occurred in a higher degree in the dentin margin when compared to the enamel margin.
