Abstract

We studied the celular respiration of the Wistar rats (174-204 hours old) first molar tooth germs, before mineralization by means of Warburg's technique for measurement. We verified the oxygen consumption was after 420 minutes, the maximum level 720 minutes, then the tooth germs showed linear reduction of oxygen consum.
