Resumo
É proposta uma técnica para o processamento da resina fluida, empregando-se um molde rigido forrado com uma camada de silicona. Os resultados da adaptação, em palatino, das dentaduras assim confeccionadas, justificam a indicação da técnica proposta

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe a method for processing fluid resin, using ia silicone-gypsum molding technique. This study was made to compare the fitting, in palatal area, of dentures made through this technique and those prepared by using a reversible hydrocolloid mold or a rigid moldo Fifteen upper dentures were made, five by each technique, and the lack of fitting was evaluatetd by quantity of impression silicone interposed between the denture bases and respective casts. The higher the weight of the impression silicone, the larger the lack of fitting. According to the results, it is possible to conclude that the denture bases made by the technique employing the silicone-gypsum mold present a smaller lack of fitting than the other two.
